No Pise La Grama Spring / Summer 2017

Tomemos un momento para hablar de No Pise La Grama, una marca de ropa venezolana que he seguido desde hace años, pero por razones desconocidas por la raza humana y extraterrestre no había publicado acá. Como fanática empedernida de los flecos y el "faralao", como diría mi abuela, este post había que hacerlo.

Recientemente se llevó a cabo la Aruba Fashion Week, otro evento que afianza a latinomérica al mundo de la moda, varios venezolanos presentaron su trabajo allí pero Daniela Panero, diseñadora de No Pise La Grama, destacó sin duda alguna entre todos.

Allí fue donde descubrí su nueva colección y me cautivó a primera vista. Spring / Summer 2017 es el resultado de mezclar lo fuerte, dulce y vivo del trópico latino. Se puede notar en la elección de colores: azules y verdes mezclados con pasteles. No hay que dejar de mencionar que los estampados son únicos, especialmente diseñados para esta colección.

Como ya dije antes, la colección está llena de flecos y volantes lo que hace que, al caminar, las prendas se muevan con una soltura y gracia típica de las mujeres de por estos lados. Fue eso, justamente, lo que llamó mi atención: el movimiento de una falda larga verde agua en la pasarela.

Otra prenda que destacó en mi colapsado cerebro fue un vestido de rayas que más tarde vi reseñado por la revista Vogue, hecho que me llenó de orgullo porque demuestra ante el mundo no todos los sinónimos de Venezuela son malos.

Let's take a moment to talk about No Pise La Grama, a Venezuelan clothing brand that I've been following for years, but for reasons unknown to the human and alien race I had not posted here before. As a fringe and "faralao", as my grandmother would say, fanatic this post was a must.

Recently Aruba Fashion Week was held, another event that consolidates Latin America to the world of fashion, several Venezuelans presented their work there but Daniela Panero, designer of No Pise La Grama, undoubtedly stood out among all.

Was there where I discovered her new collection and it captivated me at first sight. Spring / Summer 2017 is the result of mixing the strong, sweet and vivid of the Latin tropics. It can be noticed in the choice of colors: blue and green mixed with pastels. Not to mention that the prints are unique, specially designed for this collection.

As I said before, the collection is full of fringes and flounces which, when walking, the garments move fluidly with a grace typical of women from these side of the world. It was that what caught my attention: the movement of a long green skirt on the catwalk.

Another garment that stood out in my collapsed brain was a striped dress that I later saw reviewed by Vogue magazine, a fact that filled me with pride because it shows to the world not all the synonyms of Venezuela are bad.
