The Uniform Project

Durante el congreso del sábado pasado Carolyn Aldana mostró, en su ponencia, un video sobre The Uniform Project. Desconocido por mi hasta entonces, The Uniform Project es creado por dos amigas, quienes diseñaron un vestido negro simple y decidieron que iba a ser usado durante 365 días, sólo cambiando los accesorios y complementos que serían comprados en tiendas de segunda o donados ¿el objetivo? recaudar dinero para niños que no podían ir a la escuela tuvieran una educación. Gran forma de usar el fashion como caridad, además de poder ser aprovechado por todas nosotras para aprender a combinar lo que tenemos y poder seguir usándolo como nuevo. No quiero ser una criticona pero yo veo 2 vestidos en el video... Igual excelente iniciativa.

During the last Saturday congress Carolyn Aldana showed in her presentation, a video about The Uniform Project. Unknown by me until then, The Uniform Project is created by two friends, who designed a simple black dress and decided that it would be used for 365 days, just changing the accessories, which would be bought at thrift stores or donated. The goal? raise money for children who could not go to school to get an education. Great way to use fashion as charity, besides being able to be used by all of us to learn how to combine what we have on our closets and continue using it as new. Not to be picky but I see a 2 outfits in the video ... But is an excellent initiative anyway.
