Oscar’s Fashion

As I have repeatedly written here, I've been really busy these days and because of that my blog has fallen into a total abandon, but here I am. Today I was lucky enough to work up early and I have class tomorrow in late afternoon, so I can sleep as I deserve at last! But I couldn’t close my eyes without letting here a new post for you all to enjoy until I have time again to wander over here again.
Did you like the Oscars? Definitely the fashion and entertainment are my strongest subjects, a few know a lot about politics, or economics, but are we less intelligent because we love fashion and culture? (Nothing to do with gossip and celebrity) Not at all, I am also very good in Greek mythology, there you got. Anyway, enough talk and let’s see the fashion that shined at the Oscars tonight.

page1 copia

Shining: Cameron Diaz in Gucci just blah!; Berenice Bejo in gorgeous Elie Saab; Jennifer Lopez being Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad; and the beautiful Kate Mara (Yes, Rooney Mara’s sister) in Jack Guisso Couture.

page2

Ladies in red: Emma Stone disappointed me looking like a Nicole Kidman doppelganger, Such a déjà vu, anyway! her dress came from the hands of Gianbattista Valli; I don’t really like the Michelle Williams dress it remind me to Julianne Moore at the Golden Globes, is Louis Vuitton; and Natalie Portman lookin’ like a teenager going to Prom in Dior Vintage.

page3

Like an ocean: Glenn Close so perfect in Zac Posen; Penelope Cruz always flawless, this time in Armani Privè; and Viola Davis in Vera Wang is perfection from the middle up.

page4

Dark side of the carpet: That is the most perfect Alexander McQueen dress ever! is worn by Jessica Chastain, Sandra Bullock looking boring in Marchesa and Tina Fey gorgeous in Carolina Herrera.

page6

Like angels: The winner Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji; Shailene Woodley in Valentino (I LOVE THAT DRESS!!); and the oh-so-perfect Gwyneth Paltrown in Tom Ford.

page9

Two sides of a coin: from the good side we got Mila Jovovich in Elie Saab (She is a model after all) and Rooney Mara in Givenchy, is so shocking see her in something that isn’t black; and in the bad side, I LOOOOVE Meryl Streep but that is the ugliest Lanvin dress I ever saw and Anna Faris is the worst dressed of the night for me.

page5

Bridesmaids 1: Maya Rudolph barely good on a Johanna Johnson purple dress, I think that silver is too contrasting; and Kirsten Wigg in J Mendel, LOVE IT!

page8

Bridesmaids 2: Ellie Kamper in Armani Privè; Melissa McCarthy in Marina Rinaldi, she can do better; and my idol Rose Byrne in Marquesa, I don’t think the dress fit her well.

page7

The couples: they have been the ringleaders on this award season, in one side Angelina Jolie in Versace best dress of the night, so much attitude; and in the other hand Stacy Keibler in Marquesa of course.
