Si ya se que voy tarde, pero no crean que no estuve todo el fin de semana pendiente de lo que pasaba en el desierto californiano. Coachella es probablemente el festival de música mas grande de los Estados Unidos, sino el más hippie. y esto se demostró en los outfits de los asistentes, desde las más exageradas celebridades hasta los más prácticos en la audiencia.
Yes, I know I'm late on this, but don’t believe that I wasn’t watching the entire weekend what happened in the Californian desert. Coachella is probably the largest music festival in the United States, if not the most hippie one. And this was demonstrated in the outfits of the attendees, from the exaggerated celebrities to the most practical ones in the audience.
Diane is not practical at all. Vanessa lookin’ ridiculous. Jamie flawless but I’ll be aware of boots. And maxi dresses aren’t so fresh as they seems.
Dita is so perfect always but a little overdressed for the desert. Katy Perry cute in D&G. Nicole Richie being Nicole Richie. And Rihanna please dye your hair back to black/brown please.
En cuanto a las actuaciones: Cee Lo Green, Kings Of Leon, Duran Duran, Freelance Whales (a quienes descubri recientemente y me encantan), Chromeo, Duck Sauce, Scissor Sisters, The Strokes, el fantastico cierre de Kanye West (Quien rockeó una camisa de la línea femenina de Céline) y muchas mas bandas y Dj’s convirtieron un fin de semana común en uno de las mejores experiencias del año.
Algún día hare una reseña vivida de Coachella. Juro es mi sueño asistir a este festival desde hace años, pero por vivir en un país décimo mundista es algo difícil de lograr, aunque no imposible. Siempre hay un próximo año ¿cierto?
As for the performances: Cee Lo Green, Kings Of Leon, Duran Duran, Freelance Whales (whom I discovered recently and I love them), Chromeo, Duck Sauce, Scissor Sisters, The Strokes, the fantastic end of Kanye West (who rocked a shirt by the Céline female line) and many more bands and DJs turn a common weekend into one of the best experiences of the year.
Someday I will do a lived review of Coachella . I swear attend this festival has been my dream for years, but live in a one tenth world country and is difficult to make it, but not impossible. There's always a next year right?
