Bittersweet

Se siente bien estar luego de una semana tan dura como la que he tenido. Siento dejar abandonado este espacio tanto tiempo, pero entre la universidad y problemas personales, tengo que agendar un poco de tiempo hasta para respirar.

El día de hoy ha sido un tanto dulce, un tanto amargo. Hubieron risas y lágrimas. Perdimos –mi familia y yo- a una persona especial para todos, de esas personas que son alegres sin saber por que y que contagian sonrisas por donde quiera que pasen. Pero el mundo esta lleno de maldad, de maldad verdadera, que no les importa arrebatarnos personas y no se interesan por el daño que hacen. Solo queda recordar con alegría, a nadie le gusta causar dolor en otro, ni siquiera a los que ya no están alrededor.

Cambiando un poco el tema, mientras me encontraba hoy en la funeraria, tenía que distraerme un poco y un kiosco de la calle –a los que hace años no veía- tenía la edición mas reciente de la biblia revista Vogue, con la hermosísima Siri Tollerød en la portada. Marzo 2011 hace un recuento de las colecciones más vistosas de lo que va de año. Mostradas con el mejor estilo afirmándome día a día que Vogue es mi sitio de trabajo soñado. Una de las razones por las cual estudio periodismo.

Me llamo la atención la colección primavera- verano pret-a-porter de la firma italiana Dolce & Gabbana. monocromática en cuanto a colores –solo blanco y negro- predomina el blanco deleitándonos con la pureza de detalles en crochet y macramé. Encajes, tejidos,ligereza, limpieza son palabras que definen esta colección, casualmente también son palabras asociadas con la divinidad, a la cual todos queremos llegar cuando dejemos el mundo físico y pasemos al espiritual. Pero el tema religioso lo dejo para otro post.

It feels good to be back after the hardest week I ever had. I'm sorry leaving this space so much time, but between the university and personal issues, I have to schedule some time even to breath.

Today has beena bittersweet day. There were laughs and tears. I lost -my family and myself-  a special person  of those people who are happy without knowing why and who spread smiles wherever they go. But the world is full of evil, real evil, that doesn’t care take away great people and do not care about the damage they do. It only remains to remenber him with joy, no one likes to cause pain in another, even those who are no longer around.

Changing the subject a little, while I was at the funeral today, I had to distract myself a little and a kiosk on the street had the most recent edition of the bible Vogue magazine, with the beautiful Siri Tollerod on the cover. March 2011 recounts the collections so far this year. Shown with the best style daily affirming that Vogue is my dream job. One of the reasons why I study journalism.

IThe spring-summer pret-a-porter of the Italian brand Dolce & Gabbana attracted my attention. Monochromatic in color -just black and white- predominantly white, with purity delights in crochet and macramé details. Lace, textiles, light, cleaning are words that define this collection, coincidentally also words associated with divinity, to which we all want to go when we leave the physical world and move on to the spiritual one. But I leave for another post the religious issue.
