Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher fue la heroína de toda una generación, no solo para los fanáticos de Star Wars, lo fue para todas esas niñas que crecieron sabiendo que había algo más allá del modelo machista estancado en su época. La actriz no quería que su personaje en la saga de películas ambientadas en el espacio fuera una dama en apuros, ella quería luchar junto a los hombres, pelear y ganar batallas y muchas veces cambió el guión para que así fuera.

Al otro lado de la pantalla Fisher también batalló y nunca temió hablar de sus problemas y, posteriormente, de como superarlos. Carrie sufría de trastorno bipolar y estuvo abocada en su papel de oradora en cuanto a problemas mentales se refiere.

Carrie Fisher fue un icono y se le recordará como tal.

Carrie Fisher was the heroine of a whole generation, not just for Star Wars fans, but for all those girls who grew up knowing that there was something beyond the stagnant of the man supremacy of their era. The actress did not want her character in the saga of films to be a lady in distress, she wanted to fight alongside the men, win battles, and often she did changes to the script so it was.

On the other side of the screen Fisher also battled and never feared to speak about her problems and, later, about how to surpass them. Carrie suffered from bipolar disorder and was very involved in her role as a speaker regarding mental problems.

Carrie Fisher was an icon and will be remembered as such.
